This week's "Pios of the Week" for the week ending 1/18 are Senior Emilie Wizner of Women's Basketball and Freshman Mannon Stern of Men's Swimming and Diving for their performances over the past week. 

Emilie Wizner — Women's Basketball
Senior guard, Emilie Wizner, from Germantown, WI, powered a 2–0 road week for Carroll with efficient scoring and timely playmaking. She opened at North Central with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals on a perfect 4-for-4 at the line in a 78–74 win. Wizner followed at Augustana with a game-high 23 points — including 4 made threes and a perfect 3–for–3 at the stripe — to pace a 75–71 victory that moved Carroll to 12–4 (6–1 CCIW). For the week, she averaged 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals, while hitting key shots in transition and late-game possessions.

Mannon Stern — Men's Swimming & Diving
Freshman distance specialist, Mannon Stern, from Winnebago, IL, delivered a statement performance at the Ripon vs. Carroll vs. Lawrence tri-meet. Stern won the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:57.48 to secure crucial team points, more than 22 seconds faster than his seed time improvement marker, then came back for a runner-up finish in the 500 free at 5:41.71 (dropping 13.73 seconds relative to his improvement metric), showcasing endurance and pace control across both distance events. His 1000 free carried a 368 performance-point value, placing him among Carroll's top scorers at the meet and underscoring his impact in the distance group.
