WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Carroll University bowling program has earned a spot in the 2026 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship (ITC) Sectional Tournament, marking a historic milestone for the program.
Carroll was selected to compete at one of four national sectional sites, with competition scheduled for March 13–15, despite not participating in any Tier 1 collegiate events during the regular season. The unexpected qualification underscores the strength and consistency of the Pioneers' 2025-26 campaign and reflects the respect the program has earned at the national level.

"This is a program-first moment for us," said head coach Mason Petrin. "We didn't set out to qualify for this event, but the fact that we were selected speaks volumes about the work this team has put in throughout the season. I'm incredibly proud of our student-athletes and what they've accomplished."
The Pioneers' qualification highlights a season defined by depth, competitive consistency, and strong performances across the lineup, establishing Carroll as one of the rising programs in collegiate bowling.
