Box Score DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Carroll men's lacrosse team used a balanced offensive effort and strong play on both ends of the field to earn a 15–10 road victory over Clarke on Thursday evening in Dubuque, Iowa.
Carroll set the tone early, scoring three unanswered goals in the opening quarter and carrying a 3–1 lead into the second period. The Pioneers continued to build momentum throughout the first half, maintaining offensive pressure and controlling possession with efficient clears and consistent shot volume.
After Clarke closed the gap early in the third quarter, Carroll responded with a decisive stretch, scoring six goals in the third period to regain separation. Zach Szuba led the charge with a team-high three goals and one assist, while Brady Conwell added three goals and two assists to pace the Pioneer offense.
Carroll's depth was on full display, as nine different players found the back of the net and 10 players recorded at least one point. Aiden Klick finished with two goals and one assist, while Brady Mollsen contributed two goals and one assist, including a man-up tally. Ethan Phillips and Luke Bridges each added multi-point performances as well.
Defensively, Carroll limited Clarke's opportunities despite the hosts' push, and Jonas Malmanger anchored the effort in goal with 11 saves. The Pioneers also forced turnovers and capitalized on transition opportunities, helping maintain control down the stretch.
Carroll closed out the contest with four goals in the fourth quarter, including scores from Luke Bridges, Mollsen, and Jake Kapocis, sealing the victory and improving the Pioneers' record to 3–5 on the season.
