ADDISON, Ill. — The Carroll women's bowling team wrapped up its regular season at the 2026 Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Sectional Qualifier, competing against one of the deepest national fields in collegiate bowling March 14–15 at Stardust Bowl.
Carroll finished 13th overall in the women's team standings, posting a total pinfall of 11,436 across 64 games. The Pioneers showed consistency throughout the weekend, battling through four demanding blocks of competition against nationally ranked programs.
Individually, Carroll was led by Samantha Sciortino, who finished 18th overall in the singles standings with a six-game total of 1,190. Miley Brooks followed close behind with a 27th-place finish at 1,166, while Ava Butt placed 50th with a total of 1,120 pins.
Additional Carroll competitors included Allyson Will, who placed 124th overall, Kailyn Davis, and Grace London, each gaining valuable experience competing on the national stage against the top collegiate bowlers in the country.
The sectional qualifier served as an important developmental opportunity for the Pioneers, particularly with a roster that continues to gain experience at the championship level. Carroll faced elite competition throughout the weekend, testing lineup depth, mental toughness, and consistency across extended match play.
The Pioneers will now turn their attention to the CCIW Championships, which comes this next weekend in Moline, IL where Carroll will look to build on their extremely season.
