The No. 2 doubles team of David Eman and Ulrik Gellein earned a 6–4 win, while Nate Christensen and Ryan LaBelle cruised to a 6–0 victory at No. 3 to clinch the point and give the Pioneers a 1–0 lead heading into singles play.

From there, Carroll took control across the singles courts, winning five of six matches. At No. 1 singles, Andrew LaBelle earned a straight-set win, 6–1, 6–4, to extend the Pioneer lead. Felix Persson followed with a 6–2, 6–3 victory at No. 4, while Nate Christensen dominated at No. 5 with a 6–0, 6–1 result. Carroll also picked up a convincing win at No. 6 singles, where Layton Carls closed out a 6–0, 6–3 victory to help seal the match. Ryan Labelle rounded out the singles wins with a third set tiebreak win in a tightly contested match after going down in the first set.

Illinois Wesleyan's lone point came in a tightly contested match at No. 3 singles, where the Titans edged out a third-set super tiebreak.
