Elizabeth Wang of women's lacrosse and
Widar Burman Voss of men's golf following standout performances across the week in their games and matches.
Elizabeth Wang, a junior from Wildomar, California, played a pivotal role in a championship-clinching week for the Carroll women's lacrosse team as the Pioneers secured back-to-back CCIW regular season titles.
Wang delivered a standout offensive performance in Carroll's road win at North Central, posting six goals and two assists for eight points in a dominant 22–2 victory. She followed that effort with another strong showing in the title-deciding matchup at Carthage, scoring three goals in an 8–6 win that officially locked up the conference crown.
Across the two games, Wang totaled nine goals and two assists, finishing the week with 11 points while shooting efficiently and consistently producing in key moments. Her performance helped power Carroll through a critical stretch of the conference schedule and capped off a championship run for the Pioneers.
Widar Burman Voss - Men's Golf
Widar Burman Voss, a junior from Bromma, Sweden, turned in a strong week for the Carroll men's golf team, highlighted by a standout individual performance in the Hatchet Match at Lawsonia Golf Course and a solid finish at the CCIW Preview.
In the Hatchet Match against St. Norbert, Burman Voss posted the low round of the day for the Pioneers, firing a 70, and teamed with Fernando Cirajas to earn Carroll's lone match win, finishing one up in their pairing despite the team loss.
Later in the week, Burman Voss continued his consistency at the CCIW Preview, finishing tied for 19th overall and helping Carroll compete against the conference field. His steady play across both events underscored his importance to the Pioneer lineup as the team moved deeper into the spring season.
