(New Berlin, Wis.) - The Carroll University men's tennis team fell to 0-3 on the season following a hard-fought 5-4 loss to St. Mary's (MN) University. St. Mary's claimed a critical 2-1 lead following doubles play then split the six singles flights to edge the Pioneers.
 
Jack and Matt Michael won at No. 1 doubles for the Pioneers while Carroll won singles points at No. 1, 4 and 5.
 
Carroll returns to action Feb. 14 when they host Wisconsin Lutheran College at 6 p.m. at Moorland Park Tennis Center.
