(Waukesha, Wis.) – Carroll University hosted the Wisconsin Private College Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The Pioneer men finished 4^th-of-13 teams while the Carroll women were 6^th-of-12.
 
Mikal Merriweather and Kieran DeGroot won the 200 meter dash and 3,000 meter run, respectively. Chris Van Saders (400 meter hurdles) and Sean Marton (pole vault) earned runner-up finishes while Grant Marton (1,500 meter run) and Mitchel Janca (400 meter dash) earned third place finishes.
 
A trio of Pioneers finished third for the CU women. Alissa Elwing was third in the 400 meter dash while Abby Thrams and Marissa Wendtland finished third in the 800 meter run and 400 meter hurdles, respectively.
