Carroll Finishes Ninth at Season-Opening Edgewood Culver's Fall Invite

JANESVILLE, Wis. - Carroll's men's golf team claimed 9th place this Saturday in their season opening match at the Edgewood Culver's Fall Invitational. The men kicked off their first round on Friday with a score of 305 but on Saturday were able to cut 10 points for a score of 295. They ended the weekend with a total of 600 points, granting them 9th place out of 15 teams. 

Freshman Ben Brook led the Pios in scoring with 149 and advancing 19 spots to tie in 27th place. Close behind, TJ Walton stayed consistent through both rounds and finished with a score of 150 in 30th place while Carter Morrison advanced 16 spots to tie him at 30th place. 

 Widar Bruman Voss finished off the weekend tied for 35th place with a score of 151. Advancing the most through rankings was Grant Nauman who jumped 27 spots to tie for 72nd place with a score of 160.  

The Carroll Pioneers will continue their season in Lake Geneva at the Firebird Fall Classic on September 9th.
