Carmella Nowak Grabs First Team All-Conference Honor

Carroll University senior Carmella Nowak has earned a spot on the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) All-Conference First Team, highlighting her exceptional career with the Pioneers. A key contributor to Carroll's success, Nowak helped the team capture the 2024 regular-season conference crown and establish itself among the league's elite programs.

Known for her composure and technical ability, Nowak consistently delivered in critical moments. In 2024, she scored in a 5–2 win over Carthage, sparking a five-game winning streak that propelled Carroll to the top of the standings. Her ability to control the midfield and create scoring chances made her an indispensable part of the attack.

Nowak continued her strong play in 2025, appearing in 15 games with 14 starts. She recorded five goals and one assist for 11 points, took 32 shots with 22 on target, and converted all three of her penalty kicks. Among her highlights were clutch goals against UW–Whitewater and Marian, along with a score in Carroll's 3–0 victory over Beloit.

A Waukesha native and graduate of Waukesha South High School, Nowak's leadership and consistency have left a lasting impact on the program, earning her well-deserved recognition as one of the CCIW's top players.
