The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District Team for Women's Soccer today, with Carroll earning three Academic All-District Honors. The Pioneers saw
Carmella Nowak,
Victoria Crivello, and
Brielle Ingalsbee each earning the distinction. These players were not only key contributors on the field for the Pios throughout the season, but also high achievers in the classroom as well.
Making her first appearance on the Academic All-District Team, Nowak capped an outstanding senior season by earning First Team All-Conference honors. The Waukesha, Wis. native led Carroll in both goals (5) and points (11) this year, helping the Pioneers reach the final game of the CCIW Tournament. A 2024 CCIW Elite 26 Award winner, Nowak has exemplified achievement on the field and in the classroom throughout her career. Across 43 career games, the Communication major recorded 7 goals and 3 assists, cementing her role as a consistent offensive threat.
Crivello earns Academic All-District honors after anchoring Carroll's defense in her senior season. The Brookfield, Wis. native played in all 16 games and led the team in minutes played, serving as the backbone of a defensive unit that kept the Pioneers competitive in the CCIW. A transfer after her sophomore year, Crivello nearly played every minute of her junior and senior seasons at Carroll. She was also recognized as the 2025 CCIW RESPECT Award winner, highlighting her leadership and sportsmanship on and off the field.
Ingalsbee makes her second career appearance on the Academic All-District Team after another strong season for Carroll. The Las Vegas, Nev. native finished second on the team in points this year with 2 goals and 3 assists, continuing her reputation as a versatile playmaker. A three-time All-Conference performer and 2023 CSC Academic All-District honoree, Ingalsbee has appeared in 71 career games, tallying 19 goals and 13 assists. Her experience and consistency have been vital to Carroll's success during her tenure.
