The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District Team for Men's Soccer today, with Carroll earning two Academic All-District Honors. The Pioneers had seniors Marti Solanelles and Matthew Meke each earn the distinction for the second consecutive year. These student-athletes not only delivered exceptional performances on the field for the Pioneers, but also distinguished themselves as academic leaders off the field.

Solanelles adds to an impressive resume that includes Second Team All-Conference honors in 2025 and First Team honors in 2024. The Barcelona, Spain native finished second on the team in points this season with 12, continuing his role as a dynamic offensive threat. Across 62 career games, Solanelles has recorded 25 goals and 18 assists, making him one of the most productive players in program history.

Meke earns Academic All-District honors after a standout senior season. The Oostburg, Wis. native was named First Team All-Conference in the CCIW and led Carroll in minutes played while ranking second on the team in goals scored. A consistent presence in the midfield, Meke closes his career with 8 goals and 2 assists, showcasing his durability and leadership throughout his time with the Pioneers.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
