Carroll University senior tight end Reed Breckheimer has been selected to the D3football.com 2025 All-Region 5 First Team, as announced by D3football.com Wednesday, adding more recognition to an already extremely accomplished career.

Breckheimer, a 6-foot-1, 250-pound senior from Hilbert, Wisconsin (Hilbert HS), earned First-Team recognition at tight end for Carroll (Wis.) under head coach Michael Budziszewski. He adds this honor to his First Team All-CCIW selection at tight end earlier this fall, as well as AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America First Team earlier today.

In 10 games, Breckheimer caught 46 passes for 488 yards and one touchdown, rushed 49 times for 308 yards and nine touchdowns, and completed 3 of 4 passes for 38 yards, accounting for 60 points on the season and showcasing his jack-of-all-trades impact as Carroll finished 4–6 overall (4–5 CCIW).

D3football.com's Region 5 encompasses the American Rivers Conference, the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, the Midwest Conference, and the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The All-Region teams were selected in balloting by Region 5 sports information directors and D3football.com staff from 141 nominations, with 78 players named. All-Region honorees are eligible for D3football.com All-America consideration, scheduled to be announced Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.
