Carroll senior center
Max Katsenos has been selected to the D3football.com All-Region 5 Second Team, recognizing one of the region's top interior linemen following a standout 2025 campaign.
Katsenos' postseason honors add to his Second Team All-CCIW selection announced last month, underscoring his impact at the heart of the Pioneers' front five.
Anchoring the offense from the pivot, Katsenos logged 663 reps at center, surrendered just one sack, and earned a team evaluation grade of 91, providing consistent protection and communication in every front
(Program analytics provided by staff.). He's now a 30-game starter, the reliable constant in Carroll's blocking unit and the backbone of a physical, assignment-sound offensive line.
Carroll's performance metrics reflect that as the Pioneers finished fourth in the CCIW in rushing offense (128.8 yds/g), and allowed only 11 sacks on the season, tied for the fewest in the league.
This fall featured signature line efforts, including the 34–14 road win at Illinois Wesleyan, where Carroll controlled the ball, converted nine third downs, and churned out 398 total yards behind a disciplined front and downhill run game.
Katsenos' All-Region nod follows D3football.com's annual recognition of top performers across each Division III region and further positions him among the nation's elite interior linemen heading into All-America consideration.
