NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2025 NCAA Division-III Indoor Track & Field season were announced this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), with Carroll's
Vanessa Uitenbroek and
Maria Falk each earning the distinction in the shot put. The top-five individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region honors, in addition to each member of the region's top-three relay teams.
A Graduate Senior from Kaukauna, Wis., Uitenbroek is a four-time conference champion in the shot put, winning her fourth straight title just a couple weeks ago. She currently ranks seventh in the event in all of Division-III with a distance of 14.06m (46-01.5). This marks the seventh All-Region distinction of Uitenbroek's distinguished career, with five coming during the outdoor season. The most recent award is her second consecutive All-Region honor in the Indoor Shot Put.
This marks Falk's first career All-Region appearance. The Senior from Oshkosh, Wis. currently ranks eighth in all of Division-III in the shot put with a season-best throw of 14.04m (46-00.75), which is just one spot behind Uitenbroek.
Both Uitenbroek and Falk will finish their successful indoor season on Saturday when they'll each compete in the shot put at the 2025 NCAA Division-III Indoor National Championships. That event will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET from Golisano Training Center in Rochester, N.Y.
