FINAL RESULTS
WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll's men's golf team competed in the Morningstar Masters Saturday afternoon, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran at the par-72 Morningstar Golf Course. The Pioneers finished with a team score of +23, which was just three shy seventh place, and 18 away from the winning score.
The Pios finished with the third-most pars (52) on the day. They were led by
Ben Book, who recorded 13 pars, which was tied for the third-most among individuals. Carroll also recorded six birdies in the round.
Book and
Grant Naumann tied for the team lead with identical scores of +4 to finish in a tie for 20th overall. Naumann recorded two birdies on the front nine, entering the back just one-over-par.
Carter Morrison registered the third-best score on the team with a +7 to finish 41st among individuals.
Mathias Werring and
Widar Voss rounded out the team score, shooting a +8 and +11, respectively.
Carroll will be in action again on Monday when they'll take part in the MSOE Invitational. That tournament will be held at Brown Deer Golf Course in Milwaukee, Wis.
