GREEN BAY, Wis. - Competing at the 6,697-yard, par-72 Green Bay Country Club Monday afternoon, Carroll's men's golf team finished fifth out of seven teams at the St. Norbert Invitational. The Pioneers' team score of 340 (+52) was just five shy of the fourth-best score, and 32 behind St. Norbert's winning score.

Carroll was led by Widar Voss' score of 78 (+6), which was tied for fourth among the 44 participants, and was just two strokes shy of the winning score. Carter Morrison added an 84 (+12), while Grant Naumann shot an 87 (+15). Ole Sonsteby and Mathias Werring rounded out the Pios' team score with identical scores of 91 (+19).

The Pioneers will be in action again this weekend in what will be their final event of the regular season. They will compete in the two-day Bryant & Stratton Legends Classic, beginning Friday at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms in Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
