NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has named Carroll Senior Adrian Gomez as the league's Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.

Gomez went 4-1 in three matches in Hilton Head, S.C. during the Pioneers' Spring Break trip last week. Notably, the Logrono, Spain native went 1-1 in singles play, winning 6-4, 6-4 against LeTourneau and narrowly falling to Division-I Stonehill College.

In doubles play, Gomez shined along with his partner Daniel Ezcurra, winning all three of their matches. 6-4 against Letourneau, 6-0 against Salve Regina, and finally a dominating performance in a 6-3 win against Stonehill to finish the week.
