Carroll Athletics Highlights: Varsity letters: football (4). Football: Four-time Academic All-American, two-time Carroll College athlete of the month, CCIW Player of the week in 1987. Cosida District 5 Honorable Mention All-American. Started three games as a freshman, and was a 3-year starter at linebacker. Named twice All-Conference CCIW, and once to Second Team All-Conference CCIW. Was team Most Valuable Player in 1986, defensive MVP in 1985 and 1987, 1987 was team captain and received team commitment award. In 1992 played in the Coca Cola League in England with the Gateshead International Senators (on field head coach, defensive coordinator and starting inside linebacker).
