Lenore Schroeder '80 is one of the Pioneers of women's athletics at Carroll, earning the school's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior in 1980. A four-year letter-winner in both Volleyball and Basketball, Schroeder was a team-captain on both squads. She played a key role on Carroll's state championship basketball team in 1977, while also helping the Pios win the state championship in volleyball in back-to-back years (1978 and 1979), advancing to the National Tournament in 1978. She was the recipient of the Coaches Award for basketball in each of her final two seasons.
