Carroll Athletics Highlights: Credited, with Jean Kilgour, in shaping women’s athletics at Carroll. As a coach and faculty member, coached all women’s sports, often simultaneously. Helped establish first women’s intercollegiate athletics program at Carroll in 1972-73. Basketball teams went undefeated from 1971-74. Won first CCIW basketball championship tournament despite being seeded last, holds great respect among former students, colleagues, coaches. This honor is fitting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of women’s intercollegiate athletics at Carroll.
