Megan O'Grady '14 is one of the best long-distance runners in the history of Carroll's athletic program, competing in both cross country and track & field for the Pios. A two-time Midwest Conference champion in cross country, O'Grady was also a two-time NCAA Division-III National qualifier, The 2013 Carroll Female Athlete of the Year, O'Grady graduated with the school record in the 6K. Her career was equally impressive on the track, where O'Grady set six school records, five of which still stand today. The crowning moment of her career came as a freshman in 2009 when she finished as the Division-III National runner-up in the 5K at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. O'Grady was a three-time All-American and five-time NCAA National qualifier on the track, while finishing her career as a 16-time event champion and seven-time Performer of the Meet.
