Lawrence Rynning '77 was a four-year member of Carroll's football team, anchoring the offensive line on some very successful teams. As the starting offensive guard on Carroll's 1976 CCIW championship team that finished with an 8-1-1 record, Rynning was named All-Conference, while also earning CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. An All-District selection during his senior season of 1976, Rynning was part of the WICA Offensive Team in both 1975 and 1976.
