Carroll Athletics Highlights: Varsity letters: football (4). Three years First Team All-Conference, NCAA Division III Reception Leader. Name All-American Division III, NAIA All-American, Sporting News (All Divisions), honorable mention All-American and Sport s Illustrated Faces in the Crowd. Tried out with the Denver Broncos in 1979. Played two years semi-professional football and played in the National All-Star Game in 1980 in New Orleans. Offensive Most Valuable Player NSPL in 1980. Signed with the Green Bay Packers in 1981 and was released in 52 player limit. Also signed with Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1982.
