Carroll Athletics Highlights: Varsity letters; cross country (3), track (4). Cross country: 1988; top 10 at WI Small School Championship, All Conference in CCIW (12th), Most Valuable Runner: 1989; Captain, Most Valuable Runner, Carroll’s athlete of the month, 2nd at WI Small School Championship, All Conference in CCIW (10th), 34th place finish at Midwest Regional Championships: 1990; Captain, Most Valuable Runner, Carroll athlete of the month, 3rd place finish at WI Small School Championships, All Conference in CCIW (3rd), 26th place finish at Midwest Regional Championship. Track: 1988; All Conference CCIW in 800 meter dash, coaches award; 1989; Champion at WI Small School Championship in 800 meter dash, 1500 and 3000 run, All Conference CCIW in 800 (7th), and 1500 (4th), most valuable female runner, coaches award: 1990; Captain, injured most of season: 1991: Captain, most valuable female runner, Carroll athlete of the month; during indoor season, broke records in 800, 1500 and 3000; qualified and ran at NCAA Indoor Nationals, finished 12th; Champion at WI Small School championships in 800 meter dash, 1500 and 3000 run; All Conference CCIW champion in the 3000, 2nd in the 1500 and 3rd in 800 meter; just missed nationals qualification in 3000 run. 1990-1991 was presented the Kilgour Award; 1990-1991, Who’s-Who Award for academic and athletic excellence. Pam still competes in road races and is defending champ at more than one. She is an active member of her school community, working hard to promote health and fitness not only to students, but to staff members as well.
